Naproxen treatment for pain doesn't safe information is for a 1375 mg perday initial maximum daily dose, and as soon as some pain relief is experienced then a drop to 1100 mg per day maximum. It's very bad for your stomach and intestinal tract, so it's also important not to take too much. There are things to help protect your inner longing you can do such as having something like yogurt before taking the medication or there are versions with a protective coating on the naproxen, but these are new and tend to be way too expensive for most people.
Best wishes.
