I am on the 3rd day of my 5 day Z pack. About an hour or two after taking my dose I have developed a strange soured taste in my mouth. Almost makes my saliva taste gross. Is this a normal side effect of Zithromax? I know it can change your tastes, but I didn't have this side effect on day 1 or 2.

"Taste perversion" is a common side effect of Zithromax.
If the taste perversion is worst when taking the dose, considering taking it with carbonated water.
