I have 2 bulging discs in my back (L4 & L5) that give me pain in my lower left back on a constant basis especially when I stand for more than 5 minutes. I have tried many creams, patches and meds. I am presently taking Kadian which gives me very little relief. Will Salonpas help me with this condition and would I be better off using the cream or the patches? I have seen 2 surgeons that have both said that the risks outweigh the benefits so they refuse to do surgery on me. What do you recommend?

Have you ever tried the inverter machine? It holds you upside down to stretch out the spine. I have DDD and arthritis in my back. I haven't tried the machine but am intrigued by it since I know someone who has had success with it.
I also use Flector Patches when I am really bad off... mostly at night. Yeah I can't be on my feet for long either. My foot tends to lose feeling at a very short time.
Good luck!
