I was taking subutex and was decreased down from that to lomotil. Now why is lomotil a controlled substance and why was I given it when my tolerance is something they have never seen before if its a slightest addicting type drug I withdrawal off it like herion?

hi scotty,didn't your doctor tell you what he was giving you? subutex is a controlled drug class 3 in the US. And it has plenty of addictive affects. If i was you I would contact the pharmacy where you got it and ask them whats up with this drug.didn't your doctor do a cows evaluation when you started on sub? If your doc decreased you down to whatever you were at and your still feeling withdraw symtoms you should give this new drug a try.If its not working go back and ask your doc whats up?
