i am 82 years old and very active ,my doctor switched me from simvastatin 40mg to atorvastatin calcium 20mg three months ago and right after I lost my taste of food and lost 25lbs. . 6 feet tall went form 205 down to 180 the weight lost is ok for me .
Will Atorvastatin cause me to lose my taste for food?

Loss of taste is not a reported side effect of Atorvastatin. Loss of appetite is.
