I have been taking Ativan at 2mg 3 times a day. I started tapering off at 1/2mg per day. What withdrawal symptoms should I expect?

Hi SpankyDarla I agree with Masso , Ativan (Lorazepam) can cause a number of withdrawals you do not want . You should talk to your Doctor for a slower taper or pharmacist . I tapered for a year very slowly . I still have withdrawals every now and then after stopping 4 years ago . Benzos cause a lot of problems . Be careful and good luck .
You are discontinuing this benzo too fast, you must do it more gradually under medical supervision, otherwise, trust me, you will feel terrible.
Some withdrawal symptoms of Ativan (Lorazepam)
Insomnia
Confusion
Weight Loss
Nausea/Vomit
Anxiety
Panic Attacks
Tachycardia
And that is just to name a few.
I have been there.
