Hi, i'm on 75 mg of Venlafaxine for depression/anxiety. I would like to know if it's safe to take Ashwagandha alongside SNRIs? Are there any known unsafe interactions? Thanks in advance.
Ashwagandha and SNRI - is it safe?

Hi, Jake! Ashwagandha is one of the most potent of the Ayurvedic herbals and as such comes with warnings of interactions with some psychotropic medications. I couldn't find a specific reference to Effexor or SNRI's, but our interactions checker includes only the most common and basic herbal remedies.
I'd recommend erring on the side of caution and consulting either a naturopath or a homeopathic pharmacist before taking this combination.
