So I’m wondering if I can take the supplement Ashwagandha for my anxiety, because before clonazepam I was taking it but now I’m off the supplement due to concerns about side effects(along with my other med Zonisamide). I take clonazepam 1mg as needed maximum twice a day(I’ve never done twice in one day). For Zonisamide I take 200mg at 9pm

I would talk to your doctor, pharmacist, or naturopath for professional advice. You're right to be concerned as many so-called natural and herbal supplements can and do interact with prescription and OTC medications.
In the meantime this article may give you some tips on using ashwagandha:

You might also want to ask your doctor about your continued anxiety while taking a benzodiazepine.
I've taken Ashwagandha for years with clonazepam. No problems.
I have been taking 4mg of Klonopin daily for 23 years and added 900mg of Ashwagandha daily with it and actually been able over a week to lower my Klonopin to 2mg per day along with 900mg of Ashwagandha and have NOT had any issue's nor found any on a trusted Herb to Drug Interaction Checker. The Aswagandha is more mellow feeling and helps alot with stress.. I hope this helps you..
