I started taking Zoloft last week for social anxiety, since then it seems like I can’t stop eating. Has anyone had this problem, and if so,did your appetite go back to normal ?

Oh, dear, Cheryl! It can go either way:
"Metabolic
Decreased weight gain has been observed in association with use in children and adolescents.[Ref]
Very common (10% or more): Anorexia (up to 17%)
Common (1% to 10%): Decreased appetite, increased appetite, weight loss "
Sometimes a common side effect will resolve over a week for so, but if it continues and you're gaining weight you'll need to consult with your doctor for advice. (Oh, yea!!! )
Yup! Unfortunately, when it can go either way with one of these ADs, I want to eat more, crave carbs, and ultimately gain weight. I even gained weight on a couple of ADs that made me lose my appetite. Ugh!
(Not large amounts of weight always, some just enough to feel uncomfortable, and expand my waist size and abdominal area). :-(
Why does the weight always settle down below instead of somewhere useful... like on top???
ROFL !!! Amen, sister!
Cheryl; Yes that can happen to some people so the best you can do is given your doctor a call. or go in and see what you should start next. best of luck to you
Yes lol no it did not. I ended up on Latuda and lost weight
