I've been on Contrave for about 6 months now, and love it. On this last refill I've noticed a very bad odor when opening the pill bottle, one that I've never noticed before. I'm concerned that the pharmacy put it in a used bottle which previously held something nasty, or this batch is old or messed up some how. It is the first time my refill did not come in the original bottle since my doctor put me on a smaller dose... 3 per day instead of 4.
Does anyone think Contrave has a really unusual bad odor?

So, was the smelly pills still effiective because I am facing the same issue.
When I opened my bottle it had a bad smell, sulphur or rotten eggs. Is this normal?
I was just talking about that today. My first months smelt just like rotten eggs. I picked up my month two on Monday and they have no smell.. so weird. I was thinking it was the bottle bc my fist months came in the Publix bottle and my second month came in a white bottle with the Contrave logo on it. Very strange but glad to know im not the only one who noticed that.

I had the same question. My last dose smell bad like eggs or something. But there was a definite odor. My bottle was the same as before. I wonder why this is smelling now? i have been using it since June..
