I have taken fluconazole for my diagnosed yeast infection and after I am experience a very intense burning, and dripping yellow discharge. My assumption is that it's working but I am nervous. The itching went away but tge burning is very severe and when I urinate its like a thousand hells.
Has anyone experienced heavy yellow discharge after fluconazole for yeast infection?

I've had many yeast infections myself. I have never had the discharge you describe. Fluconazole is white, so the yellow is coming from something else. My best guess is that you have a bacterial infection also or maybe trichomonas. This could explain the burning. Call in to your Dr. and see what s/he recommends.
Thank you so much for taking your time to respond. I went to the doctor yesterday and they treated me for PID which was three different medications to rule out chlamydia, gonorrhea, and bv. The next step is to treat for herpes simplex although there are no lesions. I also noticed a yellowish rash on both sides of my labia minors which I don't know what could have caused it and I feel that's the main reason for the burning especially during urination.
You certainly have a lot of things happening at once. This makes it hard to pinpoint the cause of the yellow area. If you think my answer was helpful, you can give me an upvote for my answer. It does nothing but make me feel useful! ;o) I certainly hope the cause of your PID is found soon and treatment begun so you feel better..
It's probably NOT a yeast infection!! Please see about getting an antibiotic NOT all vag infections are std's like bacterial vaginitis a lot of women are prone to this because of our hormones!!
