Hi, Lydia!
Although rare, alopecia (hair loss) can affect some users:
"Uncommon (0.1% to 1%): Alopecia, cold sweat, dermatitis, dry skin".
A reduction of dose may help but oftentimes a switch to a different medication is necessary. Be aware though that this is a rare side effect of most antidepressants. Everyone responds differently to all these medications so another antidepressant may not have the same effect on you.
Talk to your doctor about your options.

Thank you your response. That is very helpful.
I would be grateful If anyone has been in a similar situation and found a different brand/type to not cause hair loss. Or if there is maybe one that is less common to do so.
