Has anyone developed anxiety with anastrozole? I had made it to day 17 feeling pretty good and all of a sudden I felt like I was having palpitations, could not focus and felt like i was coming unglued. Doctor told me to pause until my appointment in 2 weeks.
Anyone experienced anxiety as side effect of anastrozole?

I have had anxiety .. my poor Husband can’t even look at me the right way and as far as a palpitations , yes I’ve had those to , was just put on a holter monitor a week ago for my heart
I had a complete hysterectomy over 20 something years ago to me this peel put you in a second menopause not as bad as the first, but nevertheless similar

Yes! Two months after starting the drug, I developed weird symptoms that I thought were cardiac related - periodic feelings of heart flutters, irregular pulse. EKG and Holter monitor results normal. I am now 5 weeks into a "drug holiday" and as of three days ago, I no longer have those feelings. Connection?

Yes, I have, in addition to irritability. I’ve been on it several months now and it has improved.

No I have not experienced any anxiety taking this medicine. I have been on it for a little over 2 years.
