Its different for everyone ice taken 7-10mgs of alprazolam or klonopin before with sub never came close to overdosing but that's gotta b because of my tolerance I do not recommend anyone ever trying this. Better safe then sorry.
Like everyone else told you it's very dangerous. It is dangerous with any benzo; xanex, valium, ativan, colonipin etc. My husband came home and found me on the floor absolutely passed out. I had taken 2 mg of xanex along with a strip. So I personally would say don't do it.
my husband takes 8 mg suboxone 3 x daily. he was also taking 5 mg valium 2x daily. One morning while getting ready for work he passed out in the kitchen, it was then that his doctor said that he SHOULD NOT take valium while on Suboxone!!!
Of course, your doctor will tell you what you can and can not take, but if you are not being honest with your dr. and telling him all the meds. you are on, he can't tell you what is and what is not safe. BE HONEST, it may save your life!!!
If you're asking cuz you think you OD then get off the computer and take your but to the nearest ER.Several years ago I acidentally OD on a drug called Flexral(i think that's how it's spelled)and I was in a partial coma for 3 days. The doctor told my mother that I had a 50/50 chance of waking up or staying in a paranoid schitzophrenic state.I was hallucinating and dellusional for 3 days.Even after I woke up I had involuntary muscle ticks and spasms in my face for a week after it happened.Muscle relaxers are no joke.I don't no much about them cuz my drug of choice was prescription opioids.Be careful...
hi izme, the most amount of suboxone you can take is 4 - 8mg subs 32mg then the ceiling affect takes over then your just waisting sub. as far as the valium goes taking too many can slow down your breathing and your heart rate.why are you asking this question ? did you take too many v or subs ?
I've recently started taking v and sub, Just wondering what side effects or maybe death, it sounds like from what I've read so far... So naturally I'm worried, I could be doing too much V...
as for stress an aniexty (i suffer from this)i pretty much think you can take up to 10 mg of your valium 4 times a day im sorry i do not know about the suboxone ... so i can only answer half your question... take care
Hey LindaGail, most patients are discouraged from taking benzo tranquilizers with suboxone. It can cause respiratory failure or distress. If benzos are needed and warranted, the doctor will be very specific with the dosing. Sometimes people are prescribed both, but they are warned to be careful, and usually it is because the risk of seizure is greater and the doctor doesn't want the patient seizing. I know you probably didn't know this, and I am not fussing with you, just clearing things up. If the doctor who prescribes suboxone is not told by the patient that they are on any benzo tranquilizer, and he drug tests them, they will fail and he may refuse to write more suboxone for that patient.
you are right ... i only know about the valium ... i honestly have nevrer heard of suboxone till i came on here ... really i dont know what it is really used for
Pattshan is right if you get caught taking valiums againist doctors knowledge your gonna get kicked off Suboxone thats the law,They agree to that with certification as for as Ive been told especially benzos thats a BIG NO!! NO!!! your asking for trouble that is very dangerous.because it causes respitory Depression,No one can anwser this for you any better because of other prolems you might have.Leave it alone before you get hurt. Because we care...
