Hello Sweetme, I do not think there is but you really need to be careful if you are looking for something stronger for your anxiety. I was on 3mgs a day (xanax) and my withdrawals were no joke, I am still going through some "mini-seizures) and I havent taken anything in a month. I just would hate for something to happen and you were not getting your script anymore and you would have to jump off at a high dose. That could be life threatening for you. When I would find that I needed more xanax in a day or if I were taking more than I was supposed to and my tolerance was high, as it seems yours is becoming, I would systematically ween myself back down by breaking them them into pieces on days when my anxiety wasn't as bad as some other days. By doing that , I kept myself from gaining a high tolerance for xanax.
I have been on both Xanax and Ativan, and from my experience Ativan is stronger, and has worked better with regards to my anxiety and panic attacks.
But as you know we all react to medications in different ways (benefits, side effects, interactions, etc... ).
Ativan (Lorazepam) is used in the treatment of anxiety; insomnia; nausea/vomiting; sedation; panic disorder , and belongs to the drug classes benzodiazepine anticonvulsants, benzodiazepines, miscellaneous antiemetics.
Take care,

I was on lexapro for anxiety but that really messed with my mind especially since um not depressed then they tried effexor and same thing these, no help at all. If anything these anti-depressants worsened my anxiety and st that point I did become depressed and started having suicidal thoughts. So I went with a different doctor and he took a different approach and said I had general anxiety disorder (GAD) so he prescribed ativan and I honestly felt no relief just headaches I started to think if I took more maybe it would help because the dosage was too week for me. I took 1 every 4 hours and all it did was mess up my vision. I was sent home from work to get better and that caused me even more anxiety. I came home and took 20 (1mg) ativan tablets and I honestly felt nothing was it a placebo? I honestly wouldn't know what to tell you.
I have found Xanax to be better than Ativan. However, it is different mind and body chemistry for each individual. I don't want to feel sleepy, I just want the jumping out of my skin feeling to go away I've had Iut severely since 6th grade and I've just started addressing it.
I have been on ativav 2mgs, Xanax same dose, and Valium 10 MGS I found that either the Valium or be Xanax worked best for me
Hello sweetme. Ativan another fast acting drug is a sister drug to(o) Xanax. Both are almost identical in chemical make up but users do prefer one or the other. Another fast acting Benzodiazepine you might try is Serax. All work for short term relief. Aside from chemical make up, the actual dose would be the difference in how fast in to relief is actually being felt. (other benzodiazepines such as Valium, Centrax, Tranxene, Klonopin are intendeperscribed for GAD,(General Anxiety Disorder) not for high point/stress/panic/ moments. Regards pledge
There are anti depressants that are also used for anxiety, and help stop the panic attacks if you take it on a daily basis. Klonopin is also used. It is also a benzo, like xanax but you take it every day.
