Is their a drug to replace it? My breasts grew and I've developed tardive dyskinesia
Answers
Discontinuing this medication slowly is extremely important. It’s advised through the survivingantidepressants.org site not to exceed 10% decreases per month. Replacing it is generally not useful, in my opinion, and can possibly worsen the symptoms you’re currently experiencing.
There is a sister drug. You will need to search it or ask your gp about it. If you are replacing it does that mean you are having issues with amitriptyline?
what is the sister drug? Does it have less side effects
Nortriptyline
Not sure, ive personally never tried it. I use amitriptyline for back pain 20mg daily
Thank you
