I have been on Ambien 10mg 2X a night; I was wondering if there are any over the counter sleep aids that have the same or almost the same ingredients as Ambien. TY. Beth

No. But have ? for u . Do u any side effects from ambien like memory loss,tiredness, breathing problems,light headed during daytime. 20mg is A lot. I take 5mg a night for the last 6 years n have bad side effects. Looking to change.

Naturally every person is different. I take one or two per night depending on my need for the night.
Ambien is notorious for memory loss after taking the med. Other than that, I have not encountered any problems. If I can get sleep at night, my day is worthwhile. --- Best wishes to you.

Hello kmar5257. No. Theres nothing out there (otc-over the counter) that can come close to ambien and other perscription sleeping drugs. very best to you.
