Is I am allergic to sulfa can I use selenium sulfide lotion 2.5%?

If you are allergic to meds like bactrim, then you're not allergic to sulfa, but sulfonamides. That is a totally different thing from using a lotion that has selnium sulfide. all that sulfide is is the chemical salt of selenium and has no relationship to meds commonly called sulfa drugs.
