I take acetaminophen pm at night to help me sleep at night and the doctor gave me a prescription for naproxen. Can I take them both?

Yes, Tylenol is a pain reliever thats metabolized in your liver while naproxen is an anti-inflammatory that is metabolized by the kidneys so they can be taken together. By the way you should only take Tylenol pm for sleep if something painful is keeping you up. If you just need something to help you fall asleep you can buy diphenhydramine ( the active ingredient that goes with tylenol in tylenol pm) by itself. Taking tylenol everyday is generally not a good idea.
