Trying to find out if hydrocodone/APAP and hydrocodone hyproloic the same
yes, hydrocodone bitartrate is just the full chemical name for hydrocodone.
No, Hydrocodone Bitartrate is the full chemical name for the bitartrate salt of hydrocodone which is a specific substance that is different from freebase hydrocodone.
a common misconception of the uninitiated is that the listed name of the chemical in their medication and it's full descriptor are it's "full chemical name" hen it is actually the full chemical name of the salt of the chemical that is used to both make storage and in most cases absorption of the chemical easier for the body. Many pharmaceuticals in their freebase form are either volatile or a fluid of viscosity ill suited for encapsulation.
I literally made this account on Drugs.com to specifically answer this question as it's negligent insinuation irritated me.
But to add an unneeded answer to your question, yes it is hydrocodone.
acetaminophen/hydrocodone, prescription
