I have taken carisoprodol (350mg) for many years at QID. Then under the care of a new doctor, I was taken off completely for about six months. Finally, on the orders of another new doctor (starting about last June) I went back on it at TID. This morning, at about 6:30 AM (20 minutes ago) I may have accidentally taken two tablets instead of one. How much danger am I in, what symptoms of overdose should I watch for, and what action(s) should I take, if any?
I developed some heartburn about 15 minutes after taking it and took some TUMs to counteract that as well as prescribed Omeprazole DR (20 mg) with regular AM meds.
I may have accidentally taken 2 carisoprodol (350 mg) instead of 1 tablet. Am I in any danger?

You're in no danger unless there are other medical problems you have such as heart problems... if you do or have had any heart problems then I would suggest you call your doctor... if not you should be fine. You should become very sleepy and possibly weak in the muscles. Under NO CIRCUMSTANCE should you drive/operate any kind of vehicle nor should you operate a cookstove, etc. since you could possibly fall asleep while you have something cooking. If you have small children in your care, please contact someone you can trust to watch over them for a few hours.
You are not absolutely in danger. You may feel a little euphoric or relaxed, but the half life of carisoprodol y very short. So do not bother.
You should call a doctor nd ask
