I don't remember if you've said what dosage you're taking? If it's an initial or maintenance dose you may need an increase.
This is likely normal and sort of par for the course. Don't get overwhelmed by a seeming setback... talk to your doctor and let them know where things stand. You're not starting over it's probably your metabolism adjusting still. Anxiety can sometimes take some time to respond.
Has there been anything that could be contributing to this anxiety?
Take care and hang in there!
No nothing has happened i just woke up feeling so anxious and set back.. im on 10mg thats what i started on but soon as the side effects stopped i had a good week no anxiety appetite came back i left the house for the first time and now im back to square 1.. i dont know what to do and feel so defeated
It's a process and it can take a while until your brain and it's neurotransmitters get back to their normal functioning. That's what the medication does... it corrects the imbalances that're causing your almost excessive anxiety. It doesn't work like an aspirin tablet that blocks the pain impulses almost immediately.
Call your doctor tomorrow, okay? There's a solution to this and continue to be patient for just a while longer. I know you want to feel better now... we all do... but no pill is going to that without going through some progress and step backs. It's going to be okay!!!
Thankyou for your reply iv just checked my meds and im actually just taken my last pill for 6 weeks not 8, i have a appointment coming up but didnt think i was worried about it but guess in the back of my mind i must be as this came all of a sudden yesterday and my appointment is on monday morning.. fingers crossed its good news and my anxiety settles
Let's see what ol' doc has to say. Essence of time or an increase? Meanwhile, try to let it go over the weekend and distract yourself with something you'll enjoy. A walk in the park, a good novel, a favorite movie. Take a little time for yourself and relax for a bit.
