... but without creams this go around. I took the first pill thursday the second sunday and will take the final Wednesday. My question is, is it normal to have more discharge than before i started the pills? I feel physically alot more sick then the previous 2 attempts. I wanted to try boric acid suppositories but my dr said they are for a specific strain. Now the other two tries didnt change the discharge at all so im wondering does this mean its working? Ive spent probably more than 200 dollars since February trying to get rid of this plus just got my insurance statement and will owe another 200 that my insurance didnt cover. Help. I just want my life back :( this has greatly affected my self esteem and my relationship. Any advice is welcome
I have taken 2 of 3 doses of fluconazole for a complicated yeast infection. This is the third try?

The one tablet treatments don't always work. They certainly don't for me. The doctor has to provide me with a longer course.
Depending on where you are in your menstrual cycle, their are times when you have heavier discharge than other times, for most women. That could be part of it.
I can tell the difference because of the itchiness & redness that comes with candida.
Also, the candida discharge I usually get is like cottage cheese consistency. Occasionally it can be very watery, too.
Im on the depo shot so i dont get periods anymore. It was watery but now its very thick. Still no odor so thats a plus. The first set of treatments was 2 doses of the fluconazole. I was late to take the second one (i didnt read that i needed to pick up the second one until it had been 4 days later) the second round they gave me one fluconazole. The third round i had a uti so i had those meds and one fluconazole plus 7 days of a generic monistat. Now our most recent attempt is a 3 course fluconazole. I am on pill 2 of 3. I was prescribed more cream to take for 5-7 days but i decided to give my body a break and only take the fluconazole since creams have never worked for me in the past including the most recent one.
I havent had many yi and the last time i did have one this bad it turned into bv which tbh was probably the only reason i was cured.
I really dont want it to get to that point again but my dr said if i keep trying to treat it theres a good chance it will turn into that.
Im just unsure if this go around im actually improving or not. Does more discharge mean its working? Physically i feel the worst from this last dose. Should i wait and see if the final pill (which i take tomorrow) is enough to kick it or is it time to hit the dr again?
All my candida problems stopped when I came off Depo Provera. Once I'd been off it a while. Use to get recurrent cystitis on it, too. That stopped once off it.
Depo Provera causes heavier cervical mucus, too.
I always had constant heavy & wet discharge on Depo. That's very common.
If you've got itching & redness then it's probably a candida infection, but otherwise it could just be Depo discharge.
