I am going on a cruise with lots of shore excursions and wondered if it would help my back pain. This would be only for one week.

The recommended dose of Celebrex in rheumatoid arthritis patients can be up to 200mg twice a day, so I assume the dosage is okay. However, I do not know your medical history and there may be increased risks if the dose is increased. I would suggest that you talk to your doctor before upping the dose of Celebrex.
