Occasionally means sometimes twice a week
If I take 0.125 mg (half of 0.25mg pill) of Xanax occasionally, will I become addicted to it?

I can't see you getting addicted taking that small of an amount. Someone in my family gets a script of 60x 0.25mg a year and usually has some left over. Sometimes they take more than 0.25mg a week sometimes less.
Hello FBG:
Highly unlikely that you would become addicted given the dosage and frequency. My brother-in law was on that same dosage at bedtime every night for about 5 weeks and he was able to stop cold turkey.
