My pain has gone will the itching stop eventually
I checked the side effects of Tramadol and itching is one of them as you will see below. These are not all the side effects, just common ones that should do away eventually. For a complete list search Tramadol in drugs.com. I would suggest, if the itching doesn't go away or gets worse, to call your doctor.
Some tramadol side effects may not need any medical attention. As your body gets used to the medicine these side effects may disappear. Your health care professional may be able to help you prevent or reduce these side effects, but do check with them if any of the following side effects continue, or if you are concerned about them:
Abdominal or stomach pain, agitation,
anxiety, constipation, cough, diarrhea,
discouragement, drowsiness, dry mouth,
feeling of warmth, feeling sad or empty,
feeling unusually cold, fever, general feeling of discomfort or illness, headache,
heartburn, irritability, itching of the skin,
joint pain, loss of appetite, loss of interest or pleasure, loss of strength or weakness,
muscle aches and pains, nausea,
nervousness, redness of the face, neck, arms, and occasionally, upper chest,
restlessness, runny nose, shivering,
skin rash, sore throat, stuffy nose, sweating, tiredness, trouble concentrating, unusual feeling of excitement, weakness, sleepiness or unusual drowsiness
Hi, i had this side effect when taking Tramadol. In my case it didn't go away. However i had been taking the medication for quite a while already and it was really helpful for my back pain so i continued with it. If it becomes too distracting you may want to switch to an alternative analgesic
