Serious side effects of Vosoritide
Along with its needed effects, vosoritide may cause some unwanted effects. Although not all of these side effects may occur, if they do occur they may need medical attention.
Check with your doctor immediately if any of the following side effects occur while taking vosoritide:
- Blurred vision
- dizziness, faintness, or lightheadedness when getting up suddenly from a lying or sitting position
- general feeling of discomfort or illness
- joint pain
- loss of appetite
- muscle aches and pains
- runny nose
- sore throat
- trouble sleeping
- unusual tiredness or weakness
Other side effects of Vosoritide
Some side effects of vosoritide may occur that usually do not need medical attention. These side effects may go away during treatment as your body adjusts to the medicine. Also, your health care professional may be able to tell you about ways to prevent or reduce some of these side effects.
Check with your health care professional if any of the following side effects continue or are bothersome or if you have any questions about them:
- Difficulty in moving
- dry skin
- ear pain
- feeling of constant movement of self or surroundings
- hives, itching, rash, redness, swelling, or warmth at the injection site
- muscle pain or stiffness
- pain in the joints
- sensation of spinning
- stomach pain
- unusual drowsiness, dullness, tiredness, weakness, or feeling of sluggishness

Very common (10% or more): Decreased blood pressure (13%)[Ref]
Common (1% to 10%): Dry skin[Ref]
Very common (10% or more): Vomiting (27%), gastroenteritis (13%), diarrhea (10%)[Ref]
Fatigue was a common side effect (8%).[Ref]
Common (1% to 10%): Seasonal allergy[Ref]
Very common (10% or more): Anti-drug antibodies (35%)
Very common (10% or more): Injection site reactions (85%), injection site erythema (75%), injection site swelling (62%), and injection site urticaria (25%)
Frequency not reported: Injection site pain, injection site bruising, injection site pruritus, injection site hemorrhage, injection site discoloration, injection site induration[Ref]
Very common (10% or more): Arthralgia (15%)[Ref]
Common (1% to 10%): Dizziness (included dizziness, presyncope, procedural dizziness, vertigo)[Ref]
