Some pyrantel side effects may not need any medical attention. As your body gets used to the medicine these side effects may disappear.   • diarrhea
  • dizziness
  • drowsiness
  • headache
  • irritability
  • loss of appetite
  • nausea or vomiting
  • trouble in sleeping

Nervous system side effects have included dizziness, drowsiness, insomnia, and headache.[Ref]
