Garadacimab Side Effects

Applies to garadacimab: subcutaneous solution.

Get emergency medical help if you have signs of an allergic reaction: hives, difficult breathing, swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat.

Common side effects may include:

• pain, bruising, swelling, or irritation where the medicine was injected;

• watery eyes;

• stomach pain; or

• sneezing, runny or stuffy nose.

General adverse events

The most common adverse reactions included nasopharyngitis, abdominal pain, and prolonged coagulation tests.^[Ref]

Gastrointestinal

• Common (1% to 10%): Abdominal pain/lower abdominal pain

Hematologic

• Very common (10% or more): Prolonged prothrombin time or INR greater than 1.3 times the upper limit of normal (1.3 x ULN; 15%)
• Common (1% to 10%): Prolonged activated partial thromboplastin time greater than 1.4 x ULN

Immunologic

• Common (1% to 10%): Anti-drug antibodies

Local

• Very common (10% or more): Injection site reactions (14%)

Injection site reactions included bruising, erythema, hematoma, pruritus, and urticaria.

Respiratory

• Common (1% to 10%): Nasopharyngitis/rhinitis/upper respiratory infections
