Major Side Effects

  • Blistering, crusting, irritation, itching, or reddening of the skin
  • burning, crawling, itching, numbness, prickling, "pins and needles", or tingling feelings
  • cracked, dry, or scaly skin
  • hives or welts
  • itching
  • redness of the skin
  • skin rash
  • swelling

Minor Side Effects

Some of the side effects that can occur with ciprofloxacin / hydrocortisone otic may not need medical attention. As your body adjusts to the medicine during treatment these side effects may go away. Common (1% to 10%): Fever, infection, otitis externa (non-treated ear), otitis media
Uncommon (0.1% to 1%): Ear pain, ear disorder, ear congestion, ear discomfort, medication residue, full sensation of the ear
