Drug Interaction Report
1 potential interaction and/or warning found for the following 2 drugs:
- Rilutek (riluzole)
- tacrine
Interactions between your drugs
tacrine riluzole
Applies to: tacrine, Rilutek (riluzole)
It is not known if riluzole induces metabolic liver enzymes. Tacrine is metabolized by the same isoenzyme (CYP450 1A2) as riluzole. Theoretically, increased metabolism of tacrine could occur, leading to lower serum concentrations of tacrine. The clinical significance of this interaction is not known. Monitor this patient more closely for altered clinical effect.
