Usual Adult Dose for Otitis Externa
Instill 4 to 5 drops into the affected ear 3 to 4 times daily.
Prevention: Instill 4 to 5 drops into the unaffected ear 3 times daily.

Alternatively, a cotton wick may be saturated with the solution and inserted into the ear canal. The wick should be moistened with the ear drops every 4 hours and replaced every 24 hours.
