Pharmacokinetic (PK) studies with palopegteriparatide were not conducted in patients with hepatic impairment. However, mild to moderate hepatic impairment is not expected to have a clinically significant impact on palopegteriparatide PKs.

Palopegteriparatide is not recommended in patients at increased risk for osteosarcoma. Patients at increased risk include those with open epiphyses (such as children), metabolic bone diseases other than hypoparathyroidism (such as Paget's disease), unexplained elevations of alkaline phosphatase, bone metastases or a history of skeletal malignancies, history of external beam or implant radiation therapy involving the skeleton, or hereditary disorders predisposing to osteosarcoma.
