"Benefits: Completely stopped the food noise and cravings for fatty and sweet foods, decreased appetite within the first 2 days of injection. Injection not painful at all, tiny needle. Side effects: feelings of fatigue for 2 or 3 days after injection, can feel very bloated due to constipation. Feelings of a lump in the throat due to some acid reflux. Sometimes feel more emotional than normal. Increased periods, 2 periods within 1 month, very heavy and prolonged, appetite increased slightly on last 2 days before next injection due. Can feel shaky/weak if not eating enough calories due to decreased appetite. 1st month of use experience on 2.5 mg."

"Lost 10 kg in 3.5 months with daily exercise and a calorie-controlled diet. It does not eliminate the cravings, though, I always have them. Just needed the mindset that this is an expensive drug and I have to make it work. No side effects at all compared to what I experienced with Saxenda. Saxenda gave me the most horrible constipation I've ever had in my life. I genuinely thought I was gonna end up in A&E for impacted stool. I'm very happy with Mounjaro."

"I am in the 3rd week of using Mounjaro on a 2.5 dosage. I have lost 12 lbs already in the first 2 weeks. My starting weight was 18 stone and I am now 17.2 stones. The only side effect was constipation, but I have used laxatives to help. My cravings for food have totally disappeared. This is a game changer for me. "I have been losing about 2 lbs per week since I started using this. I was 170 lbs when I started and am down to 149 lbs over a period of 10 weeks. "I am a 38-year-old female who began taking Mounjaro almost a year and a half ago. My beginning weight was 300 pounds. I had high blood pressure and type two diabetes. My doctor started me on the lowest dose possible, and we only increased the dose to 5 mg when I hit a plateau after losing about 70 pounds. I never had to increase after that. In the last 18 months, I have lost 130 pounds! My current weight is 170 pounds, which surpassed my goal weight! My blood pressure is within normal range, and my type two diabetes is controlled! In addition to using the medication, I used portion control and dancing as a form of exercise. The weight just melted off. The first three months were the most difficult for my body to adjust to the medication. Once I learned what foods my body needed and which ones to avoid, things got easier! "I am just starting this process. It has been 2 1/2 weeks on 2.5 ml. I have lost 9 lbs. I'm 55 years old, 5'7", 182 starting weight. Menopause kicked my butt, I could never lose more than 5 lbs. Negative side effects: headaches (which I've been prone to or sensitive to in the past), sometimes several times a day. I had mild diarrhea the first week and am now one week in with constipation. Mounjaro seemed to reduce my internal stomach size enormously. I don't have to remind myself to eat, like other people have said, but my body is on a delay and feels full 90 percent of the time - like I don't wake up ready for breakfast, it takes two hours to want to eat. What I do eat is a fraction of what I used to eat. For example, a small soup is plenty for lunch, yogurt for breakfast. It's definitely working for me, very happy.
