"I'm 71 and been using viagra or sildenafil for about a year. It is an wonderful drug but getting the dosage right is critical. I can still get an erection without help but it had become a bit unreliable. I started off taking half a 50mg tablet . It certainly worked but I felt it was just a bit too much. I now cut tablet into 4 and find a quarter of a tablet makes all the difference and barely gives me any side effects. The half tablet dose was too much for me. It gave a very strong erection but reduced the sensations and gave me a slight headache . So I reckon it's worth experimenting to find the minimum dose you can get away with. (NB the low dose works better on a reasonably empty stomach)"

"I'm 76. Been using Cialis for BPH and also ED. Tried Viagra last week. Wow. Never performed so well. Took about 2 hours before sex. Had a great erction and lasted as long as I wanted to. Decided to climax after about 1/2 hr. of continuas intercourse. My partnetr was amazed and said it was the best! I had received 50mg tablets, but I cut in half. Seemed to be more than enough. "I gave it a 7 only because I have friends that have used it and it worked really well. I have been taking this 25mg and does absolutely nothing. I've had bloodwork all levels are fine however I do take a list of medications that could be stopping it from working. I'm 49 and not sure what is next I even took 4 (100mg) one night at the same time and nothing."

"This is an absolutely fantastic medication, has vastly improved intimacy and sex with partner, self confidence and self esteem. I was hard enough to penetrate but would lose erection and this, while partner was fully supportive and patient would cause upset and tension, sex was not a pleasant experience. Now, fantastic, having fun with my partner again have a fully hard and lasting erection. Can sometimes delay climax but not to the point of becoming a problem. Have had minor headaches and flushing but nothing major, I can find it difficult to organism as I mentioned above but again its just being patient. My relationship is fantastic now and I feel like a proper man again. As I didn't before. Don't want to have to use this forever though but will continue to use this for a few months. Can be a little frustrating in the sense that you don't always know when you and your partner are going to have sex as obviously unplanned sex is more fun rather than being "planned" which can be a little strange."

"I started with 100,then cut them in half,last night tried half of the 50. Found that 25 mg worked even better. I am in my 70's and the milder dose gave little flushing and no headache . Much cheaper when you get 4 for 1."

"Viagra works great. Take between 50 and 100MG depending on the night's activites. Most of the time I wake up the next morning with another stiff one. Two for the price of one. I'm 64 and the $50 price tag is too high anymore. Doc just prescribed the 20mg generics. I think taking 2 or 3 of them will work the same."

"I took Viagra 50mg tonight for first time. I was able to get an erection and maintain it to orgasm but still experienced some softness during intercourse. Not sure if I should ask the doctor to up my dosage. I did experience facial flushing and some sensitively to light but so far that's it."

"Yes, I achieved good erections after about 40 to 50 minutes and yes, I could repeat the experience a week or two later, however, the side effects drove me away from it. Side effects: (An annoyance, blue tinted vision, lasting about 2 hours.) First; Migraine like headaches. No conventional medicines would relieve the pain, sensitivity to light, nausea and lethargy. And, the most disturbing, difficulty swallowing for about 3-4 hours!! I ended up switching to 'Levitra'. Only a mild headache and some other minor effects for 2-3 hours. Not quite as good of an erection though (80% to 90% as good)."

"My husbands Dr prescribed 100 mg of Viagra and we paid $230 for 5 pills. Last night was the second time my husband took it and for the second time it did not work !! He is diabetic and uses an insulin pump we don't know if that has any bearing on the Viagra. Is this common?"

"I have been using Viagra for about 2 weeks. I previously was taking 5mg Cialis for daily use for about a year. That was great at first but firmness tended to be not as strong at times. My doctor gave me 50mg Viagra samples and my wife and I could tell a big difference! It is more expensive but you could buy the 100mg pills and cut them into halves or even quarters. I am over 50 and have great sex with my wife at least 3 - 4 times weekly. Stay away from the fake stuff. I am very thankful to the doctors who made available these medications in my generation! When I think about it, my sex life is greater now then when I was 20!"
