For Postoperative Ocular Inflammation "My side effects are similar to others posting here. Fatigue, drowsy, moody, irritable. I’m on my third day. As prescribed, I’m using one drop 4 times daily. Not sure how much longer I can do this. My side effects are very similar to my reaction to prednisone but not as intense. Hope it helps my post cataract surgery inflammation."

For Conjunctivitis, Allergic "I was prescribed these drops to treat allergic conjunctivitis due to the silicone in my contact lenses. These drops caused significantly high eye pressure. I now have permanent steroid-induced high eye pressure and will have to either stay on glaucoma drops for the rest of my life or get SLT surgery."

For Iritis "I started taking this because I have shingles on my face and on my eye. I took 1 drop on the left eye every hour for 13 hours. By the end of that time, my eye was seriously sore. I went to bed, and next a.m. my eye was better, according to Dr. So yeah, sometimes it's going to hurt more before it gets better."

Prednisolone ophthalmic for Postoperative Ocular Inflammation "I was told to use this med six (6) times a day for the first week but it was later changed to three times due to increased pressure. I also noticed having breathing problems. I felt better after reducing dosage to three times a day. Care must be taken and any noticeable problems must be reported immediately."

For Postoperative Ocular Inflammation "Just had my second eye done. On the 1st eye and also the 2nd after cataract surgery, I get redness in my face on my cheeks like a butterfly rash and a few painful small bumps with liquid. It comes and goes. I also had diarrhea one day. I'm not sure if the diarrhea was from the drops. The skin irritation started on about the 3rd day. So far, my eyes are okay but scratchy. I'm not sure if it's from the drops or the operation itself. In between the eye surgeries, my skin cleared up."

For Conjunctivitis, Allergic "Used it for one week as my doctor prescribed for chemical conjunctivitis. I’ve had light sensitivity for many years, which was severely increased with the conjunctivitis. The eye drops made a huge difference in the sensitivity, and the conjunctivitis disappeared. I’m very pleased with the outcome."

For Postoperative Ocular Inflammation "I didn't see any of the other complaints about medical conditions. Maybe not sleeping at night, but I don't think that's from the drug. I did notice a positive that my eyelashes in that eye have grown very nicely, so I have nice long eyelashes in one eye."

For Postoperative Ocular Inflammation "Awful experience. I took these drops after cataract surgery, and the results were awful: dizziness, mood changes, headache, anxiety, even diarrhea!"

For Conjunctivitis, Allergic "My doctor put me on this for pinguecula. I don’t even know if this is the right med for my condition. Anyhow, within two weeks of using it sporadically, my eyes are extremely sensitive to light. I’ve spent about $100 on blue/green light blocking glasses, and it still hurts in the presence of light. I’m going to get a second opinion from my PCP on whether this med was necessary. Life with your eyes closed sucks! Stay away!"
