For Geographic Atrophy "After 2 injections of Syfovre, I got wet macular in my right eye. So now I get lifetime shots for that, which don’t show improvement after 6 months. Discontinued the shots for GA. Note: the UK rejected Syfovre in February 2025."

For Geographic Atrophy "I have been taking Syfovre over the past 10 months for the GA. The doctor presented two options: Izervay and Syfovre. It is painful, but what drug is not when injecting into the eye? I don't have any severe events except disorientation and fuzzy vision for the first 2 hours. The GA deterioration has literally stopped. I didn't switch to Izervay because the efficacy with this gets better at a higher rate the longer you take it when comparing it to Izervay. I am happy being able to preserve my vision to see my grandkids grow up."

For Geographic Atrophy "Two weeks after receiving my first shot, my vision got wavy. My left eye was my good eye, and now it is my right eye. I was going to stop getting the shot, but decided I should continue as this is the only hope right now. I now receive it every 10 weeks. It is more painful than the Eylea I get in my right eye. My vision hasn't deteriorated since that shot. I have now had 4 shots. I will continue every 10 weeks. I have not seen this listed as a side effect, so possibly it was the AMD and not the shot. Scary either way."

For Geographic Atrophy "I have had only 3 injections, so not much time to see how much it would help me. However, since the company help with deductible payments has ceased, I will more than likely never find out. I am 77 years old and cannot pay the deductible, and the help from the company made it available for me since the deductible of $650.00 got covered. It appeared it would help me. Now I will probably lose my vision and only have peripheral vision left. You have a wonderful product, I only wish it were not so expensive and was more affordable."

For Geographic Atrophy "It has been an effective treatment. There has been no change in my GA since beginning the shots in 2023. I get the shots every 7-8 weeks in one eye."

For Geographic Atrophy "Had eye injections 2 months apart. Temporary loss of vision in the injected eye, significant pain and discomfort for about 5 minutes. The last injection triggered a vasovagal reaction. Did not fully faint but had cold sweats, reduced vision, and panting. Took about 10 minutes to recover. Will discuss with a retinologist before considering another dose."
