For Birth Control "I am leaving a review since the ones I read scared me enough to delay trying this pill for years. I went on combination birth control when I was 20 for PCOS symptoms, namely horrible cystic acne and amenorrhea. It worked great and I’ve since had three healthy babies. BUT, it gave me melasma and I have had enough! I switched to progesterone-only one month ago, expecting the worst. I have had zero side effects, aside from some mild bloating and headaches in week one. No acne, no hair loss, no mood changes."

For Birth Control "I’m on month 4. I’ve given it at least 4 months but my period has been very irregular! Very hard to plan for anything. I have had more than 1 period per month. Pretty nuts! Acne is bad and hair loss as well. It might work for others but it didn’t work for me. I stop taking it. Hope this helps!"

"I took it for a full three months. My boobs have gotten larger and I've gained maybe five pounds (now 144 pounds). I have started having low blood sugar episodes when I haven't eaten. I get shaky and anxious during those like I MUST eat. I have gotten some acne and my libido is zero. However, this pill did regulate my period, make it much lighter than it was, and it alleviated the bad headaches I get at the start and end of my period. I feel the side effects outweigh the good (especially the weight gain and blood sugar issue). I am 50...hopefully menopause will come soon enough."

For Birth Control "I started Incassia a few months ago. I have tried Sprintec before and didn’t have the best experience with it. I was on the Nexplanon then IUD and those were miserable in their own ways. My old gyno put me on Incassia because I have migraine headaches when I PMS. Also because my periods are crazy heavy. Well, I still have the migraines. Periods aren’t as heavy, but still there and regular at least. I got lucky because I accidentally took it late a couple times, and my fiancé and I have sex almost daily and I didn’t get pregnant thankfully as I am not ready for a kid yet. I also noticed my acne got bad again too since the first time since early high school (I’m 25). I also struggle with PMDD so this did nothing for it. My new gyno switched me to Lo Loestrin Fe and hopefully that one does better for me. But anyway, it may work for you, it may not. at least try. don’t let the reviews scare you too much, bc everyone’s different."

For Amenorrhea "Neurologist wanted me to consult with menopause expert to consider HRT. She declined, Estrogen hormone replacement therapy is contraindicated, as I have liver problems, migraines with aura (newer research busted that myth) and family history of stroke. 9 months ago, I started having hot flashes every day around 2pm for 3 hours. Intense long flashes, then chills, nausea, migraine attack. Brutal! Couldn’t work, couldn’t go out without a change of clothes and hair ties! New Gyn started me on low dose progesterone. Unbelievable difference. Hot flashes are lesser, shorter, but vary in time. And migraines are better!"

For Birth Control "I have this for heavy periods. Not happy with pill. Acne has returned after having a clear face for years. Periods are slightly lesser in flow, not much. Going to contact Dr to find out other options and possibly consider Novasure procedure."

For Birth Control "I switched to this birth control because I was getting sick from the old one. I’ve been feeling so much better since!"
