Gardasil 9 (human papillomavirus vaccine) "I started having Gardasil at 14 (I'm a female) and my last shot was given to me this past December. I have never had a problem nor have I had any of the side effects that they list. The shots stung but not to the point where it hurt (the third one was the worst of the three). I can say that I am confident that it will protect me from the forms of HPV that they state and also from getting genital warts if I decide to become sexually active well into the future."

For Human Papillomavirus Prophylaxis "shot 1 of 3 I felt kind of sick, no big deal shot 2 of 3 I had to take off work, all of my joints ached and I threw up from 10 pm to 3 am shot 3 of 3 I didn't have any problems other than soreness of the injection site. Weird thing is that it has been a month since the shot and my arm hurts again. The shot itself doesn't really hurt that much if the person administering it knows what they are doing. The 2nd and 3rd shot itself didn't hurt, the 1st one really hurt"

Gardasil 9 (human papillomavirus vaccine) for Human Papillomavirus Prophylaxis "I'm 24 and received the shot. Although painful (stinging), I experienced no extreme side effects as mentioned in numerous reviews. It was quick and I plan on returning to receive my second, then third."

For Human Papillomavirus Prophylaxis "Good overall experience, slight muscle soreness for around 2 days (nothing that hindered me). Injection itself was one of the more painful vaccines but still very mild in the grand scheme of things. An important thing to keep in mind, people are MUCH more likely to write negative reviews than positive ones because the successes are expected and otherwise unremarkable."

"It took one dose it made my vision blurry. Immediately, when I got home and tried to read it was blurry! Still struggling with it year later. I can feel the cloudiness in my eyes although not as pronounced it definitely caused damage."

Gardasil 9 (human papillomavirus vaccine) for Human Papillomavirus Prophylaxis "Out of all three shots the third shot hurt the most. The first shot felt like a normal shot while the second stinged just a little, but the third shot my arm hurt for about 3 to 4 days. Overall I think that its worth it because it is for the best."

For Human Papillomavirus Prophylaxis "I’m 39 & married over 10 yrs, I thought I was too old for the vaccine. I casually brought it up & the dr said it wouldn’t hurt to get it because my husband could be a potential carrier & not even know it. So on 9/23/21 I got it. No big deal, just like any other vaccine. The next day my armpit lymph node was extremely swollen & tender. Had a run down feeling, which is not uncommon for me w/ past vaccines. It is now 23 days later & my arm still hurts where the injection was done. Like someone sucker punched me. I am still feeling very ill, but without any fevers. My arm pit is still so painful!! & I slept 27 hours without budging last night. I’m not sure I can handle the next 2 doses! I’m sad, but I really don’t think I can, it’s just too much for me to handle"

Gardasil 9 (human papillomavirus vaccine) for Human Papillomavirus Prophylaxis "I got the shot, the second one hurt the most. The pain in my arm only lasted maybe 2 hours at the most. When I got the last shot the nurse injected it into the joint of my shoulder, which hurt for a lot longer but that was the nurses fault, not the Gardasil. I had no side effects. I believe getting the vaccination was a smart thing to do and was worth it."

Gardasil 9 (human papillomavirus vaccine) for Human Papillomavirus Prophylaxis "Hopefully I can rate the effectiveness as a 10. I have had my second shot and both my arms really hurt for about 2 minutes but after that the pain was gone and no other side effects. I think this is something that every woman or girl should get. It is really expensive and think a preventative like this should really be covered by healthcare or insurance at least (as mine is not and have paid $170 per/shot)."

For Human Papillomavirus Prophylaxis "I am a college student in medical field. I think it's always good to have virus vaccine because this microorganism is hardest to be treated, and once you got infected you will always have that virus in your body. So couple times of hurting shots will protect you life long. You never know what's going to happen to you."

For Human Papillomavirus Prophylaxis "My 12 year old son received his 2nd shot December 2020 ( 1st one 6 months prior) as the Nurse was giving him the injection he was literally growling with pain. He did not move but I could tell it hurt him immediately after it was done his whole body started shaking and it wouldn’t stop, he had no control. The nurse then said we had to stay for a while to make sure he was okay. I started rubbing the arm trying to make him feel better. He said stop it hurt to bad. 10/10 was his pain level and he will not receive that last shot. That completely scared me. I am a married mom of 6 sons and he is my youngest. This has never happened before... I’m not gonna see what a 3 shot will do"

Gardasil 9 (human papillomavirus vaccine) for Human Papillomavirus Prophylaxis "I'm 18 years old and have had all three of these shots. I don't understand why people make this shot to be such a big deal. It barely hurt when I got them. Even if it did, who cares? If the shot is going to help you out in the long run. I never had any bad side effects I recommend it to any woman who likes to be proactive."
