"This medicine was prescribed to my 5-year-old daughter, who had been dealing with an eye infection for 2 weeks. On day 3, she started to experience horrible stomach pains accompanied by vomiting, so we stopped the drops. She's only 5 years old, and her prescribed dosage was 1 drop in each eye, 4x/day. Personally, I think the dosage was too strong, which caused her stomachache and vomiting. She also complained of the awful taste. However, once I started to apply pressure to the tear ducts, as noted in the instructions, the taste was no longer an issue. If her stomach feels better tomorrow, I will give her one dose only. On a positive note, these drops have worked on her eye super quick. It relieved the pain in her eyes."
