For Birth Control "Aubra has been effective for me, but I've had to become used to it, and learn how to curb side effects. Pros: Not pregnant (!), Cleared up moderate adult acne, small and easy to take, no side effects when taken before bed with food, no spotting/cramping between "periods". Cons: If taken in morning, I had terrible side effects all day. Became dizzy, faint, and would vomit for a good part of the afternoon. Only way to avoid symptoms was to eat constantly. All of this was fixed for me by taking in the evening with food."

For Birth Control "Its great. I've been on Microgestin Fe 1/20 before and I was a train wreck. But now my periods are controlled. They last only 5 days compared to the 1.5 weeks when I wasn't taking anything. I haven't gained weight like I did with the other one and I am not so emotional. I feel normal except my sex drive really lowered and I get horrible cramps and bloats on my period. Which I never got before but I don't mind because I dont bleed as much."

For Birth Control "I've been on this for about a year and half, never had the bad side effects when I started it. My skin is a lot clearer than before with regular skin care. My sex drive is a little lower but I can deal with that and I have small amounts of anxiety but also something I can manage. Never gained weight, never have mood swings, and no other real problems. Everyone has different reactions to all birth control so you really won't know until you try it."

For Birth Control "though I haven't been on aubra very long, I’ve been on it long enough to experience the (very negative) side effects. At first I didn't notice how this pill was affecting me but now, I am definitely realizing how bad it has been! This little pill has graced me with hugely increased anxiety, flat/depressed mood, insomnia, weight gain, more acne, heavier and more painful periods, and headaches. I am switching to a non-hormonal IUD because aubra has messed my body up so much! Do not recommend!"

For Birth Control "I love this pill! I had pretty bad acne before starting, and my face cleared up within the first pack or two. I have had no weight gain, and no cramping. I get slightly more emotional the week before my period with 1-2 bumps popping up, but other than that, this pill is great."

For Birth Control "I'm absolutely DONE taking this horrible birth control! I've been taking Aubra for a month and a half... I'm moody, irritable, depressed, hungry, bitchy... vaginal discharge has changed (gross), my urine smells, my acne has gotten so out of hand and it's STUBBORN. Cystic acne all around my mouth, jawline, Chin and neck. After doing some research online, I discovered I'm not the only one. Birth control is different for everyone but this is going in the trash... I will not be taking this any longer. It also kills your sex drive... as for the difference in bleeding, I wouldn't know. I started this pill on day 1 of menstrual cycle last month and haven't had a period yet... have had plenty of headaches though! "

For Birth Control "I have been on Aubra for around 4 months. The first 3 months were very smooth. I had light periods at normal times. It never really affected my stomach or appetite. The only time it made me feel nauseous was if I took the pill on an empty stomach. But anyways, recently I’ve been noticing it really taking a toll on my emotions and mental health. It’s hard for me to go a day without feeling down or shedding tears for really no apparent reason. It’s causing me to have tensions in my relationship because I’m so emotional over small things. If it lasts much longer I think I will find another pill."

For Birth Control "I ordered this from a mail order birth control site. I wasn't given an option as to what I was taking, they just sent it to me. The first month I was fine. The second month I started spotting (which I have never done in the 12 years I've had a period). By the time my period rolled around, I was passing blood clots the size of golf balls. I was in the worst pain I've ever been in. My depression and anxiety were amplified x1000 and I cried over everything. My face stayed broken out (I looked like I was on drugs from the scabbing) and I developed seborrheic dermatitis that is just now getting better (2 months after stopping the pills). I'm still seeing abnormal side effects (abnormal for me, anyway) like how emotional I get a few days before my period, the heaviness of my period and how bad my acne gets right before. I've been to the ER and made several emergency doctor's appointments because my period is so bad since I had started and stopped Aubra."

For Birth Control "This birth control gave me HORRIBLE anxiety to the point where I almost couldn’t even function. The first few months I was on it I was getting headaches, feeling nauseous and it gave me terrible acne (I never had bad acne before). The headaches and acne went away after a while but I still felt nauseous after taking the pill almost every day and my anxiety never went away until I stopped taking Aubra."

For Birth Control "Started this Aubra BC almost a year ago and haven’t had any major issues. After being off the depo shot for almost 4 years my cycle was still so irregular and HEAVY. As soon as I started this pill, after the very first pack my cycle went from 7 days to 4 days and always came like clockwork. I did gain about 15 lbs but that was a bonus for me as I have been trying to gain weight since I had my son almost 10 years ago (started depo just to gain weight and it did nothing). All in all, I love this pill and would recommend it to anyone. Don't knock it till you try it!"

For Birth Control "I tried 4 different birth control pills before Aubra. Aubra helped lighten my period and only made me feel slightly nauseous after I took it. However, when it became Aubra EQ (changed manufacturer) my sex drive plummeted and I started getting stomach issues, I feel nauseous all day (sometimes I even come close to vomiting in the morning), and my periods have become heavier. My doctor was perplexed when I told them my issues because it's supposed to be exactly the same thing, just an updated package. I have no idea why I'm experiencing side effects now. I'm switching to Azurette and I hope it works for me."

For Birth Control "I used Aubra for 11 months to help alleviate my painful periods, acne, and, of course, prevent pregnancy. This pill did give me breast tenderness that seemed to never go away while I was on the pill. I also developed severe mood swings. I would jump from being happy to sad to angry. I did end up bleeding for three weeks straight when I skipped my placebo week and jumped straight into the active pills. Other than that, it did the job of keeping me from getting pregnant. It also cleared up my acne and reduced my period cramps by a lot!"

For Birth Control "If I could rate Aubra as a 0, I would! Once I got on this medication I didn't really feel that many symptoms, EXCEPT for my mood swings. I started to cry about little things and it started to become a big issue in my relationship. I felt like I was going crazy because there would be times I would get mad at him for the most random & unnecessary things. I've been on this for 4 months now & one tip for you ladies: if you feel like you can overcome the depression and crazy mood swings, it is best to be safe and just get off of it. There have been many times I felt, "ok I can try again this time and try to make changes" but to be honest, easier said than done. I'm mid pack right now so I'm getting off once it's done. Hope to find a better brand!"

For Birth Control "I've taken birth control pills since I was 15. I was 22 when I went on Aubra because I had recently gotten into a new relationship. It ruined my life. My acne got so bad I had to go on roaccutance because of it. I have permanent scars on my face and it has given me the worst mood swings. Currently still taking it because I'm on roaccutance, but once my treatment is over I'm switching to another form of BC."

For Birth Control "so i am 30 years old two kids. never been on bcp before. i got on it to make sure not to get pregnant as i am content with just having two kids. i have only been on it for two weeks. and it has been horrible. been nauseous and have been having severe headaches, which i never get, and to top it off oh boy i have been EMOTIONAL!!!!has not been fun at all. figure ill try it for a lil longer but if these symptoms continue i will not be able to handle feeling like this everyday."

For Birth Control "This is the third brand of birth control that I’ve taken in the span of ten years and it has given me the fewest side effects. I had some some mild nausea in addition to spotting but my mood swings and depression have actually improved on this pill! No weight gain or noticeable sex drive change. Initially had some acne breakouts but now my skin is the clearest it’s ever been."

For Birth Control "I have been on almost every kind of birth control over the last 20 years, starting at 16. The best so far have been the copper IUD, but I'm someone who has gotten pregnant with both the Mirena and now the Paraguard. Hopefully I can get a tubal ligation. During my 20s, pills and hormones didn't bother me. Now I'm older I notice anything with hormones affects me physically and mentally. The Aubra has made me very nauseous, but I'm certain it's just me being sensitive to hormones. That being said, it seems like a great pill. I got it through planned parenthood at $26 so that's a huge plus. It's generic so that helps if you don't have insurance. As my doctor told me when I mentioned how often I see bad reviews on certain pills, "no one complains on online forums when they are happy.""

For Birth Control "I have been taking this pill for about 1 year and a half and so far it's been great! I've gained a little weight which has given me curves and my skin is flawless. I never get breakouts and people always compliment my skin. Thank goodness, it's helped me not get pregnant. The only downside about this pill is, I feel fatigued most of the time, I tend to get tired in the mid afternoon, my libido has gone down, I tend to get yeast infections every few months, vaginal dryness as well, and sometimes I get angry for little things."

For Birth Control "well I'm barely on my first month, and well usually my period is 5 days and while taking Aubra I've been spotting for over a week after my period. I've had this urge to vomit after eating a meal. I have also been more irritated than usual. It's my first time on birth control and I don't know whether this should tell me to switch."

For Birth Control "I started this two months ago and so far it’s been a positive experience. I have slight bloating and early break thru bleeding which I know is because it’s still new. I take antidepressants so I already had mood swings but this has not made anything worst (which is AMAZING for me because every other birth control I’ve tried has driven me nuts). I have notice my boobs have gotten a little bigger! I haven’t gained any weight, the first month I was craving food and sweets like crazy but that’s under control now. I get no acne, my dark spots have cleared up and my skin looks the best it has in years. My hair also looks great and very luscious but this could also be because I take collagen and biotin like it’s my job. It’s important to remember everyone is different but I truly have no complaints"

For Birth Control "I started Aubra at 19 & recently stopped at 22 years old. Obviously when you start any pill, you will be affected. I will say I think this pill has affected me emotionally the past 3 years. The 1st month, I experienced “breakthrough” bleeding during sex twice. I still had acne but I didn’t gain weight. After a few months, I balanced out. I never had any problems. My period was very regular, moderately light, my acne went away, I even lost 20 pounds in the 3rd year eating right & exercising. I realized recently, that my sex drive fell a year in after reading reviews. But overall, I didn’t get pregnant. After reading reviews I realized how emotional I became. I also didn’t know that Audra became Aubra EQ (I had a year’s supply). I decided to stop before going to the updated EQ (same name just different manufacturer. It was a good pill once I balanced, but overall, I’m thinking more about being “natural” & caring for my wellbeing. I was having anxiety issues like crazy. Aubra (not Aubra EQ) did well for my first pill."

For Birth Control "I have been on Aubra for almost a year now and prior to I was Aviane (which is basically in the same category as Aubra). I had to switch because I was no longer with the health provider that provided me with Aviane for the last 5-6yrs (HIGHLY RECOMMEND AVIANE). Aubra was great at first, I had no issues and my periods were light and regular, no cramping, and my face cleared up. But after 6mths of being on Aubra I noticed I would bleed easier. Sometimes I would have my period twice a month and when I would be intimate with my boyfriend I would bleed during foreplay. I also felt drier? Mind you, I take my birth control consistently. However, every woman has a different experience with birth control but Aubra doesn’t work for me. Pros: no pregnancy. No nausea/vomiting. No cramping. Clear skin. No mood swings. Cons: frequent bleeding. Drier feeling."

For Birth Control "I absolutely hate this birth control. Yes, it keeps me from getting pregnant but the side effects are TERRIBLE. i've been on this birth control now for almost 3 months and i've been breaking out like crazy. i've never had acne problems besides an occasion zit here and there. After taking this birth control my face has huge zits everywhere! im switching immediately. It also makes me act crazy!!! and i've gained 10 pounds. im done with this birth control!"

For Birth Control "I've been on aubra for a month and a half currently and I feel great. The first week I had constant headaches but they went away and now everything is fine. My periods became shorter and I'm not pregnant so I definitely like this pill."
