"20-year-old male with severe asthma (2 or more asthma attacks per day), and probable COPD, allergies with chronic urticaria, and lupus. I take 7.5 mg prednisone daily. Reasonably scared of the coronavirus. My vaccine experience: First dose: pain and swelling at the injection site, upper arm felt very sore the next day, still was a little sore the day after. Second dose: more swelling than the first dose (most of upper arm muscle felt a little swollen with slightly swollen lymph nodes in the upper arm and shoulder), upper arm felt sore for a few days. In conclusion, I had a sore and swollen arm after each shot with slightly more swelling after the second dose. A sore arm is a small price to pay for protection against this deadly virus that I know would likely kill me."
