"I have low testosterone, male, age 26. So I had 2 options when I found out I had low testosterone (198): I could try clomiphene citrate (CC) or testosterone therapy. I decided to try the CC because of the negative effects on fertility with testosterone therapy. (I haven't had kids yet, and I still want them!) I am not overweight, and I work out at the gym most days of the week. Within a month of use, my energy was back, testosterone tests showed a medium testosterone level of 350, almost 2x higher than before! Penile sensitivity greatly increased, red blood cell count went up, and I just feel great compared to before. My chronic anxiety completely disappeared, and this is a very good indicator that anxiety is caused by low testosterone in men. I have a much easier time talking to women I find attractive now and feel 10x more confident! I recommend any men try this before testosterone therapy, it is as big a difference as night and day! I take 50mg 1 time daily."

Clomiphene "I've been taking 50 mg of Clomid every other day for about a year to help low testosterone (male). My testosterone was at 233 prior to starting and is now at 742. This shift was directly in step with when I started taking the medication. I have experienced some joint pain (likely due to lower bondable estrogen), and my libido is still low (although higher than it was pre-Clomid). Otherwise, it has been fantastic, it's super easy to take every other day, and the 25-day half-life keeps the levels super consistent, even if you miss a dose accidentally."

"I had low T (305). Thought I was dying... Slow thinking, hard to recall 4 digits, let alone the whole phone number. Almost lost my job, it got so bad. Finally saw a hormonal health man, and he said since I was under 60 years old, he didn't want to put me on a testosterone patch since he tested me and I had whatever enzyme level said clomid would work. After a couple of months, I hit 758, with serum T level much better as well. Clomid saved my life and job. I don't notice any side effects I could contribute to it. I wish I could motivate myself to workout to take even more advantage. I have been on it for around 5 years. 6 months on, 1 off. Blood tested every 6 months. I read they are starting to approve drugs specifically for men - enclomiphene."

Clomiphene "Well, I was actually being treated for secondary hypogonadism. Clomid worked like a charm. The first 4 days I could seriously feel my testicles growing, and it felt like pressure, which sort of caused me to feel aroused all day... strange but sort of pleasant. I also felt happy and young again, like I did when I was younger... super positive... just all around great. Then after around 5 days, the super positive effect wore off, not a bad deal, just sort of a bummer. Then I started to get lightheaded, sort of having balance issues. Not so bad I couldn't drive or anything, but uncomfortable for sure. So, I called my doc (endocrinologist), and he said it would be okay if I reduced my dose from 25 mg/day to 12.5 mg/day (quarter tab). Just got worse."

Clomiphene "My urologist recommended taking a small dose every two days, and it increased my testosterone level dramatically. He suggested it was a safer option than taking the actual testosterone drug, and it worked. I stopped taking it due to an upcoming surgery. Looking to get back on it."

"I was experiencing symptoms of low T - low energy, low libido, no motivation to go to the gym. Within a week of taking it, I noticed my motivation to go to the gym improved and my energy and libido were, slowly but surely, coming back. I'm still fairly new to taking Clomid so I haven't experienced the full effects yet, but so far, it seems to be working like a charm. Looking forward to the results a month or two from now."

"It is important to use clomiphene together with an aromatase blocker like anastrozole to prevent an increase of the estradiol (E2). The described effect of 'euphoria' can be extended for weeks, and in many cases, the BPH (enlarged prostate) disappears as a side effect of this combination. Without an aromatase blocker, increased testosterone levels turn into increased E2 levels that irritate the prostate even more in cases where hypogonadism was caused by a hyper-efficient aromatase process. Also, many side effects are caused not by clomiphene nor testosterone but by increased E2 levels. Regular control of T, E2, FH, FSH, and PSA is advised. Certain levels of E2 are important for spermatogenesis and the ability to experience sexual climax in men."

"I was in my early 40s and felt sluggish. Sex drive was in the tank, erections were becoming progressively less firm. I had an appointment with a urologist for an unrelated reason and told him about my symptoms. He put me on 50 mg daily. I had borderline low testosterone and LH levels. I took the first dose in the early evening. I woke up to my first-ever sexual dream. I had an erection that would make a porn star blush. The first weeks, I had an insane libido and erection quality I had not experienced since I was 18. Sex was great. It’s leveled out, but I was able to double my testosterone levels. Very happy with the results."

"I tried Clomiphene to increase my low testosterone without negatively affecting sperm quality. Unfortunately, just after my second dose (25 mg), I woke up at night with numbness and tingling spreading over my whole left body side, with light tingling and muscle fasciculations continuing for over a week after discontinuing the medication. This is supposedly a very rare, but known, side effect of clomiphene, and was repeatable after trying it again after a few weeks. It also seemed to cause anxiety and even minor suicidal thoughts. On the plus side, it did probably increase my physical energy levels."
