For Bacterial Infection "Took this for a bad infection of a tooth that had gone into soft tissue. Within 2 hours of the first dose, I felt like I was dying in pain from the worst headache of my life... That says a lot for me because I suffer from migraines since the age of 12. I'm 29 and not the healthiest, so I don't know if that plays a part in how my body handles it. I am going to finish the antibiotic because I've heard it works amazingly. Hope this helps. Dosage 500 mg/4x a day for 10 days."

For Bacterial Infection "Second time I have taken this. First time was 4 years ago for cellulitis, 500 mg 4 times a day for 10 days, and it worked, but I was in bed most of the time post-surgery. This week, I was on it for a possible bacterial infection of neck up. 500 mg 3 times a day for 5 days. Very tired the entire time, legs hurt to where it was hard to walk sometimes, my neuropathy got bad in my feet for one morning only. I had a little numbness near my mouth for a short time twice, had some whopper headaches, I dreamed heavily, which I don’t do. My back molar is bothering me, and I called my dentist, and they said this should clear that too. It has not. Despite these side effects, I would take it again. So, despite my side effects, I would take it again. Calling the dentist Monday!"

For Bacterial Infection "Because of my weight, I was prescribed 500 mg of this antibiotic. But that was way too much! Headaches, intestinal issues, etc. Thankfully, I feel better now, but definitely be careful of dosage."

For Kidney Infections "I started taking this antibiotic about 12 hours ago before bed. Though the UTI symptoms subsided, they were replaced with a spell of horrible side effects from the medication. I woke up every couple of hours to drink water because I felt dehydrated, then I would quickly throw the water up. I had frequent sleep paralysis nightmares and was beginning to hallucinate, experience anxiety, and have a sore throat. When I cough, it gives me a splitting headache. The absolute delirium I feel mixed with the blurry vision I was experiencing, joint pain, and confusion on top of everything else absolutely freaked me out. So much so that I was even scared to lay down alone in my room. I walked very hunched back to my computer due to back pain and looked up the medication to find that many have experienced all of these symptoms as well. I am really agitated that I have to take this medication for 6 more days. I don't think I will finish it."
