For Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis of HIV "I've had no problem with this med. Been on it for almost a year. I use it as PrEP. But your bottom is sore for a minute, but it goes away quickly. Overall, I give it an 8/10."

For Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis of HIV "I like it so much better than the Truvada I was on before. There is a lot of peace of mind with not having to wonder if you took it or not this morning, especially if there is a lot of variation in your life or if you are not a creature of habit, and it's not easy to establish a routine that strict. I feel zero pain or discomfort at the injection site and have never had any side effects. The downside is having to go to the Dr. four more times per year. I started taking Truvada because it was near total protection, but that means I need near total protection for me, not in theory for someone perfect. Apretude gives me that."
