"Never use for burns. I had a fairly bad burn on my hand, popped the blister, and applied. At first, it was fine, and after almost 3 days, my wound got very red and swollen around the edge. I removed it, and my skin around the edge died and pulled off. My hand got very swollen and painful and oozed clear liquid and took a while to heal. Use proper burn treatment. I thought it would protect from infection, but it seals it in and keeps it too moist to heal and can make your tissue die and come off. It is great for scrapes, it protects from clothes and keeps it from getting irritated. I used it on my hand burn because I wear gloves, and it did protect it but sealed in too much moisture and hindered healing."
