"My 10-year-old son has been diagnosed with CTTP since he was 6 and has to have plasma transfusions every other week, but he sometimes gets allergic reactions to the therapy. We're waiting to be switched to this treatment instead but am very grateful for Takeda to give us an option that won't develop antibodies. It's terrifying thinking that the only treatment option we had he could develop an allergic reaction to. This will open up doors for him to live a more normal life."
