Hi, mrtza!
When you posted this question you'd only been taking it for 2 weeks which is a little early to see significant improvement. Also, side effects generally resolve in a couple of weeks.
I'm just wondering how you're doing now?
This medication is awesome for both Anxiety and Depression. The best SSRI for GAd i found was Paxil. Made me feel glad to be alive everyday and also i never felt so calm on it.
Loss of appetite can be a side effect in the early days. I’m not sure whether mine was the Zoloft or anxiety… probably a bit of both! It’s back with a vengeance now though.
It takes between 4-6 weeks to reach therapeutic levels so you really need to give it a bit more time before assessing the situation.
I found by week 4 I felt improvement.
50mg is considered a lower therapeutic dose but the maximum dose is 200mg so you still have plenty of options if your doctor thinks you need a higher dose.
Good luck
Thank you
