Answers
Of course it can; take a day off and antibiotic resistant bacteria are allowed to flourish. In recent medical studies, the USA is in the forefront for breeding antibiotic resistant bacteria as you take days off, discontinue days early because you feel fine and while none of you are alcoholics, it is largely a desire for alcohol that makes people non compliant. A course of antibiotics is seven days (normally) and if you cannot abstain for that long, you have bigger problems than teeth infection.
I wouldn't skip a dose, continue taking the antibiotics, but drinking will affect the efficacy of the medication
