Can you use a muscle relaxer and a pain medicine together?

Did the same doctor prescribe both medicines? If not I would talk to one of both doctors to make sure they are aware you take both medications.
My pain doctor prescribes me both oxycodone and Skelaxin (muscle relaxer. Before the Skelaxin I was on baclofen for several years. I'm prescribed both due to a few back conditions.
I hope your pain gets under control.

I suggest you give your Dr. a call after you read the interactions as there is a major one between both medications.
The two may also intensify the actions of each other.
